Shadows is a new work play that focused on the complexities of life as a young woman, Lindsey, deals with her family, her musical career, the sickness then eventual death of her own girlfriend, on top of her own health issues.

Shadows is a memory play with the core present being the Brooklyn home its protagonist and her sister inherited when their parents died. Scenically I wanted to lean into a world that suggested this older home while still enabling the space to transform through lighting and projection for moments of memory where the characters were transported to a different environments.
